Connecting to Server
You can easily connect by simply clicking the play button, Choosing a username
(May be taken, if so choose another) and a password. Your username cannot be
blank or contain any of the following: - + = _ , . ( ) [ ] { } / \ ? | ! @ # $ % ^ & * ' " ; :
If it takes a long time to load and eventually says: "Error connecting to server", the
server might be down, so you just need to wait a while. If this continues for a day,
you need to upgrade your java. You need version 6 update 25 or higher. After that
it should probably work. If not contact a mod.
Starting Off
When you start off, it's probably best to become a ranger or melee, magic can be
a bit harder because of the rune requirement, you only start off with 100 air runes
and because they are commonly used, you will need to buy more. Skilling isn't
good at making money yet, I have sent out a suggestion about what I think would
help make the server better and if they were implemented, would make other skills
more important. Link: "http://www.nitro-scape.com/t64-skiller-importance-and-max-levels".
As a melee character, i'd recommend training in this order:
40-50 Strength
40 Attack
60-65 Strength
60 Attack
55 Defense
With these stats, i'd recommend the following:
Helm of Neitiznot
Rune Platebody
Rune Platelegs
Rune Gauntlets
Climbing Boots
Dragon scimitar
Unholy Book
Amulet of Strength (or if you have the money, Amulet of Fury)
If you have the money, Berserkers ring
If you somehow manage to get it, fire cape otherwise obsidian cape
When you are well equipped, train your prayer to around level 45 at the hill giants by
burying their "Big Bones" while getting your strength up to around 75 for some good
damage.
From here you can continue on your own.
If you are going to be ranged, well I don't know much, but i'd recommend getting
rune throwing knives and then training in this order.
40-55 Ranged
40 Defense
Get Green D-Hide and Rune C-Bow.
60 Ranged
From here I can't really help you so you'll have to continue on your own.
Making Some Money
The first way of making money for if you have the time and patience is thieving, you can
find the stalls south-west of the edgeville bank. There is a NPC called "Sigmund the
merchant" and you can sell the stuff you get from the stalls to him. At first the amount of
money you get is tiny, but when you get to the later stalls you will make millions of GP
per hour. I'd recommend having an empty inventory, stealing 27 items and then selling
to sigmund. Note, you will occasionally get hurt.
